The Crimson Ghost is a Republic Shield KDY EF76-B Nebulon-class escort frigate that currently serves as the escort of the Redemption in the Subterrel Strike Force.

History
Reinforced Republic Shield forces defending neutral mining vessels from Imperial attack near two navigation buoys in an asteroid field in the Anshife system. Arrival prompted by the appearance of the Frigate Slasher, which led Imperial forces in an attack on the neutral shipping vessels. Led Republic Shield forces against the Imperial forces, protecting the neutral vessels and destroying the Frigate Slasher. (PBF505)
Stationed at an entrance to the Anshife system, out from the newly-discovered Imperial warhead plant, to prevent Imperial reinforcements from hampering the Calamari Cruiser McGrath’s efforts of raiding and razing the facility. (PBF509)
Reinforced Republic Shield forces led by the Calamari Cruiser McGrath that had discovered the illegal weapons factory on the edge of the Anshife system, built into a Calamari Cruiser, which had been evading Republic Shield search efforts in the Cadrel Expanse. Joined the McGrath’s forces in facilitating capture operation of the factory, while fending off Imperial forces led by the Frigate Hyperion, which were attempting to prevent the factory from being captured. The vessel helped cover the transport group Katarn while they launched from the McGrath and attempted to capture the factory. Imperial reinforcements led by the Frigate Triumphant renewed Imperial efforts to prevent the capture of the mobile factory, but Republic Shield forces held the Imperial attackers at bay long enough for the transports to board and capture the factory, and then escape into hyperspace. The Calamari Cruiser Valour finally arrived to reinforce Republic Shield forces, and completely secure the area, destroying the remaining Imperial presence in the combat zone. (PBF511)
